Or if you really want, you can address me as JakeQuake. I’m not entirely certain how I coined the name, but it probably has something to do with me attempting to be creative when I made my twitter account years ago.
I am currently a junior Chemistry and Management Studies student at Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. My academic interests include epigenetics, pharmacology, and drug development. I want to channel my knowledge of chemistry and genetics to study the development of a drug or gene therapy that would eliminate any and all symptoms associated with chronic food allergies. After completing my degree in Chemistry, my goal is to attend medical school or pursue a Ph.D. in Pharmacology.
In my free time, I’m an avid aviation enthusiast and airplane spotter. I enjoy picking around on the guitar and listening to any music that the folks from Sirius XM’s Alt-Nation play. I’m also a fan of letting the free market do its thing.
“Nobody spends somebody else’s money as carefully as he spends his own. Nobody uses somebody else’s resources as carefully as he uses his own. So if you want efficiency and effectiveness, if you want knowledge to be properly utilized, you have to do it through the means of private property.” -Milton Friedman
